- We believe that the Bible (Old and New Testaments) is the inspired and infallible Word of God. As described in 2 Timothy 3:16 – “All scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
- We believe in the Trinity. One true and living God who eternally exists as three distinct entities – The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ; His sinless life; His miraculous ministry; His perfect sacrificial death as payment to restore the lost relationship between God and mankind.
- We believe in Jesus’ bodily resurrection and triumphant ascension into Heaven. We believe in his glorious return as the hope of all believers.
- We believe in the fall of man, who was created pure and upright, but fell by voluntary transgression against God.
- We believe in salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, who, according to the scriptures died for our sins, was buried, and was raised from the dead on the third day. We believe through his blood we have redemption. This experience is also known as the new birth and is an instantaneous and complete operation of the Holy Spirit upon initial faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
- We believe that all who have truly repented and believe in Christ Jesus as the Lord and Saviour are commanded to be baptised, by immersion, in water.
- We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as a divine gift to the believer, enabling with power for service. The essential biblical evidence of which, is the speaking of with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
- We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of Christ in the church today.
- We believe in the holiness of life and conduct in obedience to the command of God.
- We believe in the divine healing power of God which is still at work today. Isaiah 53:5 – “By His stripes we are healed”
- We believe that all who have truly repented and believe in Christ as Lord and saviour should regularly participate in the breaking of bread, as commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ himself.
- We believe in eternal life after death and the bodily resurrection of all men, the everlasting conscious bliss of all who truly believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and the everlasting conscious punishment of all whose names are not written in the Book of Life.
